Research Ethics
Most research projects require Certifications to ensure proper ethics
are used in dealing with human subjects, animal subjects and the management
of bio-hazardous materials.
Process Pathways offers eRSO as a rich tool that streamlines the administration
of the research funding and ethics approval. We have advanced the ethics
management module to handle all forms of medical project information
including clinical trials.
eRSO Ethics tracks and manages the application and approval process
by enabling Research Ethics Boards to view, print and electronically
approve certifications. Applicants can view the status of their applications
online or receive automatic notification via email, fax or letter.
In cases where Ethics approval is written, administrators can upload
the files to the system and manually change the status of the requests
all in one interface.
Every eRSO module is easily integrated with other modules or existing
systems eliminating much of the inefficient, redundant and error prone
data re-keying.
Health Sciences Portals
We design, deploy and improve portal projects tailored to the specific
needs of a community. Our portals can incorporate or call on your security
systems to ensure that clinical data is safe from intrusions by unauthorized
users. We are also able to federate identities across communities through
policy and trust agreements.
As a partner in a recent portal project, we deployed role based information
over 50 applications and work tools for over 60,000 users. In this
project, using Process Pathways' methods for function and community
building, the user population grew from a pre-existing two-year high
of 2500 users to over 30,000 in just seven months.
